Did you know that having leaky gut(aka intestinal permeability) and imbalances in your gut microbiome can lead to disturbances and symptoms in many other places of your body?
Things like:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Alopecia
- Rashes
- Eczema
- Brain fog
- Anxiety
- Mental Health Issues
- Acne
- Joint pain
- Cravings
- Inflammation
- Fatigue
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Bloating
- Autoimmune Issues
- And other chronic health conditions
All can be linked back to imbalances in the gut!
These conditions can be helped by attending to the gut and addressing the imbalances. Identifying what things have stressed or damaged it over the years, what particular microorganisms are inhabiting it(bacteria, parasites, yeast…), and then healing these imbalances, disturbances, and damage.
You see we are exposed to toxins and chemicals on a daily basis from things like pesticides, glyphosphate, antibiotics, contaminates in our food and water, as well as in our personal care products that can cause damage to the lining of our gut walls, essentially causing micro holes that then allow these toxins, microbes, and undigested food particles to ‘leak’ into our bloodstream setting off cascades of immune and inflammatory responses that we then might later feel as symptoms(pain, inflammation) in parts of our body disturbing function and flow, setting us up for dis-ease.
Many clients we have worked with over the years have found relief from their nagging symptoms and chronic health challenges once we worked on healing the gut. Of course we also attend to their whole be-ing with mindful nutrition, hydration, sleep, and stress management. Having those foundational pillars of health are important, but without addressing gut health and hidden infections, many people stay suffering and just managing even though they are doing ‘all the healthy things’ with diet, exercise, supplementation etc.
Can you relate to this?
Trying to do all the things to take care of yourself (and your family) trying to eat right, exercise, not stress out, and just keep on keeping on! Maybe leaky gut or gut microbe imbalances could be a contributing factor in your situation?
